Producer: Maison Lembert (24) The block of foie gras is a pure but reconstituted product. It only contains foie gras here, but it is a conglomerate of pieces of foie gras from several lobes.
Less refined in terms of flavors and aromas than whole foie gras, it is still a high-end product ideal for spreading on toast at cocktail hour.
To be accompanied by grilled or untoasted country bread. Also to be used for Tournedos Rossini or duck breast hamburger with foie gras. Serve with a Bergerac Moelleux (Rosette, Côtes de Montravel), a sweet wine (Monbazillac) or a low-tannin Bergerac red wine.
It can be stored for 4 years after production in a dry place and protected from light. Refrigerate 48 hours before serving. Serve very cold.
