El Parotet Vermell is a unique red wine produced by Celler del Roure, an innovative winery located in the Valencia region, in the Clariano sub-zone.
This wine is made primarily from the native Mandó and Arcos grape varieties, grapes that have been rescued and cultivated with a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach. These varieties reflect the Mediterranean character of the area, with clay and calcareous soils that provide minerality and freshness to the wine.
Fermented and aged in traditional clay jars, El Parotet Vermell is a clear representation of Celler del Roure's commitment to ancestral methods that highlight the purity and authenticity of the terroir. The result is a fresh, elegant wine with a unique varietal and mineral expression that captures the essence of the Valencian landscape.
El Parotet Vermell has an attractive ruby red color with violet reflections. Its bright, medium-bodied appearance suggests a young and vibrant wine, with a slight natural turbidity, the result of its minimal intervention in the winemaking process.
On the nose, fresh aromas of red fruits such as wild cherries and strawberries are perceived, accompanied by subtle herbal and spicy notes. As it is aerated, hints of minerals and damp earth emerge, as well as delicate floral notes that provide greater aromatic complexity.
On the palate, El Parotet Vermell is fresh and juicy, with vibrant acidity and soft tannins that integrate perfectly. The flavours of fresh red fruits are combined with notes of spices, Mediterranean herbs and a subtle earthy and mineral touch that reflects its aging in clay jars. Its finish is long, refreshing and balanced, with an aftertaste that evokes its Mediterranean origin.
