Alemany 1879 eucalyptus honey is a balsamic and highly aromatic honey. It is the honey that breathes best. Its origin is a combination of Spanish regions: Extremadura, Andalusia, and Galicia. And its harvesting takes place in the summer.
Made in Spain Gourmet always chooses the best of Spanish gastronomy.
Eucalyptus Honey Alemany is a mono-floral honey with an amber/golden color.
It contains aromas reminiscent of wet grass or even forest/wood. It has a sweet, strong but refreshing taste, which is why acidic notes (balance between sweetness and freshness) can be found.
Its taste is very persistent and has a spicy flavor.

The oil is used topically as a treatment for muscle and joint pain, as well as for treating cold sores.
It also serves as a natural mosquito repellent.
USE TIPS FOR EUCALYPTUS HONEY:
• Due to its refreshing and herbaceous aroma and flavor, eucalyptus honey is ideal for use in any type of pastry preparation. To provide a fresh and pleasant touch while sweetening the recipe.
• It can also be used in cooking, both in cold recipes like salads and in different types of meat and fish preparations, to give them an herbaceous and elegant touch.
APPLICATIONS:
• Incorporate this honey into fruit and vegetable smoothies or hot vegetable creams (for example, a cream of pumpkin, carrot, artichoke, ...).
• Add to dairy dessert recipes, chocolate-based desserts (brownies, lava cakes, ...), cakes, cookies, spice breads, waffles, muffins, ...
• Drizzle over seasonal fruit sweet cakes. For example, mille-feuille cakes with custard and mandarin or apple pies.
• Drizzle white fish before baking (for example, when making "en papillote" sea bream, drizzle the fish with honey) or after removing it from the oven.
• Make acidic vinaigrettes with honey to dress green salads, legume salads, meats, and fish. For example, make a vinaigrette with white wine vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, orange and grapefruit juice, and eucalyptus honey.
