Tanqueray Ten is a Premium gin, London Dry type. It is a very recent gin from England, dating back to the year 2000.
The Tanqueray gin was initially distilled in 1830 by Charles Tanqueray in the Bloomsbury district of London.
Tanqueray Ten is crafted in small batches using an exclusive quadruple distillation process. It is made through three distillations of grain, and a fourth one of botanicals, to which chamomile flowers and citrus are added.
The distinguishing element of the legendary Tanqueray No. Ten lies in its citrus heart of natural white grapefruits, freshly cut Florida oranges, and limes.
Appearance: Tanqueray Ten has a clean and transparent color.
Nose: Citrus, herbaceous scents, and chamomile flowers are perceived.
Palate: Intense and refreshing. Citrus notes with hints of grapefruit, orange, and lime. Subtle finish with juniper nuances and balsamic notes of chamomile.
The ideal glass is a balloon glass and the perfect serve is as follows: Fill the glass with ice to the top, add Tanqueray Ten and a thin lime slice. Squeeze half a lime. Fill the glass with Fever-Tree Tonic Water. Stir with a stirrer and run a lime peel along the rim of the glass for an even more refreshing effect.
