Lara y Sara is a cheese made with pasteurized milk from Galician cows and goats, which was chosen as the second Best Blue Cheese in Spain in 2019.

It is the first Galician blue cheese with a pale yellow paste. It has a creamy and elastic texture on the palate. It has a mild dairy flavor with slightly spicy and somewhat bitter notes, very balanced.

Its natural rind covered with mold, from the penicillium fungus, is edible.

It is a gourmet cheese, recognized and awarded at the World Cheese Awards, the most prestigious competition in the world, on multiple occasions.

It comes from Quesería Prestes, a family company from San Simón (Lugo), where their principles are respect for tradition, care in the production process, and the high quality of their raw materials, resulting in true gourmet delicacies that have been nationally and internationally awarded.
