Marantona aged Manchego cheese is a high-quality product with Denomination of Origin Manchego. It is the most awarded brand in Castilla la Mancha, made in La Solana, Ciudad Real. Made with 100% sheep's milk from the Manchega breed, aged for a minimum of 8 months and a maximum of 12 months. It has a hard rind, pale yellow to greenish black in color, and a firm compact paste with a variable color from white to yellowish ivory. It has a slightly acidic taste.
