100% Pinot Gris

The 2021 vintage is significantly cooler than 2020, with maximum and minimum temperatures below historical averages. Some late frosts also led to lower yields in Mendoza province. Rainfall was high, with almost 100 mm in February alone, compared to an average of 250 mm per year over the last ten years. Fortunately, we had anticipated these difficult weather conditions, heralded by an already wet November, by thinning the leaves of the most recent grape varieties and of our plots reserved for our high-end wines. We began harvesting on February 3 and finished a week earlier than the historical dates.
