Navara
This wine is a tribute to Adriano Ochoa Luna, the fourth generation of the Ochoa family. Innovative, elegant, and made with the patience of someone who knows how to listen to nature and select the best of it.
Ochoa Reserva is a red wine made with a selection of grapes from their vineyard, which will then age in oak barrels for a long year and then in bottle for a minimum of 3 years to become Ochoa Reserva. It is a wine that is only produced in the best vintages, those that are known to achieve the power and elegance representative of Ochoa Gran Reserva.
The pace of life today often has us running from one place to another. But nature has its own clock and some things need their time to be at their best. Ochoa Reserva is one of them.
Made with Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes from the El Secadero, La Milla, and Montijo estates. It ages for 7 years in the cellar, with the first 15-18 months in new barrels of American and French oak of 225 l.
Ochoa Reserva is a mature, complex wine that maintains its fruity character while being an elegant and silky wine.

DO Navarra
The proximity of the Cantabrian Sea, the barrier of the Pyrenees, and the mild climate of the Ebro Valley make Navarra a unique place on the peninsula for grape cultivation. Here, the Atlantic, continental, and Mediterranean climates converge. This denomination is divided into 5 zones: Baja Montaña, Tierra Estella, Ribera Alta, Valdizarbe, and Ribera Baja, where Finca La Cantera is located. In the heart of the Ebro Valley and with the Moncayo Sierra in the background, the unique nuances of this plot represent the terroir of the Finca wines, manually harvested and crafted with great care.
Bodega Ochoa
They invest a lot of effort in R&D and have a clear goal: to maintain natural balance while always taking advantage of new technologies and investing in new research, development, and innovation projects that allow them to improve. In 1994, Bodegas Ochoa was the first Spanish Winery to carry out an R&D project, and since then, they have not stopped investing and experimenting, always from a respectful perspective based on holistic agriculture. Since 2015, they have made progress in certifying their grapes and olive trees as organic with CPAEN. Some of these projects include water stress control methods, irrigation and vegetal covers, late harvest Moscatel Grano Menudo, sparkling MdO 5.5% alc, Carbon-Neutral CO2 footprint...
Years of work, research, and experimentation have taught them that to make great wine, careful viticulture is very important, and obtaining low yields in the vineyard is essential.
They are innovative but loyal to the legacy of their previous generations. Their vineyards come from the ancient vines of their ancestors, they have selected the best vines, and research has helped them multiply their plant material to continue making high-quality Ochoa wines.
Health and ecology at Bodegas Ochoa are also fundamental: they are practicing holistic viticulture, treating the land as their grandparents did but using the most advanced technology. And they are immersed in a transition to organic farming.
