VINEYARD
Comes from Tempranillo vineyards, over 30 years old with yields of less than 4,5oo kilos hectare, located in 6 different villages along the Ribera del Duero. Different soils, altitudes, different sun exposures, .... that bring complexity to the final wine. Each origin is made and aged separately, enhancing and preserving its virtues to be shown in the final wine.
WINEMAKING
The plots are harvested at their optimum ripeness, after a strict analytical and tasting control in the field, at that moment the grapes express their best qualities. The grapes are harvested by hand and selected at the entrance to the winery, leaving only the bunches with excellent health and ripeness. After destemming, the wine is made by gravity without the use of aggressive pumping that mistreats the grapes. Total maceration is around 18 days.
CRIANZA: 14 months in barrels, 80% French and 20% American, with racking every 4 months. 4 months of resting of the final blend in tank.
Unfiltered wine, with time slight sediments may appear as a result of natural evolution.
