The Ron Cacique 500 Extra Añejo Gran Reserva is produced in Venezuela and was launched in 1992 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America.
Ron Cacique 500 Extra Viejo Gran Reserva is a completely handmade rum made from molasses, distilled in copper stills and aged for eight years in carefully selected oak barrels.
After the aging process, the master distiller selects only the best barrels for Cacique 500.
It is a rum that is made in the jungle, therefore, the climatic conditions (high temperatures during the day, low temperatures at night, and very high humidity levels of up to 90%) make Hacienda Saruro the perfect place for its production.
It is made with pure spring water and Venezuelan sugar cane.
Appearance: The Ron Cacique 500 Extra Viejo Gran Reserva has an amber color, with golden tones and a viscous appearance.
Nose: It is smooth, sweet, with hints of chocolate, caramel, and butter. Brown sugar, a touch of vanilla, and a small amount of oak wood can be perceived.
Palate: Its taste begins with a slight hint of tequila, mild bitterness, viscous and velvety. It is a very sweet rum.
It can be enjoyed neat on the rocks or mixed with a soft drink.
