Historically French villages owned mills in which the grinding and extraction of different oils from different nuts was done.

La Tourangelle has been making its oils in its mill in Saumur, in the Loire Valley, using the same traditional methods for 150 years.

La Tourangelle Oils are made from the best fruits available. For example, most of the walnuts we use come from the orchard next to the oil mill. Each batch of walnut oil is unique and handmade following a 150 year old tradition. First the nuts are roasted by hand in cast iron kettles before extraction with the press. The oil is then lightly filtered and bottled.

La Tourangelle Oils are packed with Omega 3, 6 and 9-the three keys to a healthy diet, natural antioxidants and essential vitamins.
