Navara
The decision to create a new style of natural sweet white wine with the Moscatel de Grano Menudo variety was made by Javier Ochoa, when he was conducting research studies on this variety at EVENA (Navarra Viticulture and Enology Station).
His Moscatel de Grano Menudo variety comes 100% from the El Bosque estate in Traibuenas, it is very special and its original characteristics are enhanced with overripening. It has great aging potential.
Ochoa Moscatel is a wine where they always reinvent themselves and each vintage is different, although a style is maintained every year. In warmer years, honeyed and floral aromas stand out. However, in cooler years, aromas of tropical fruits such as pineapple, lychee, and white flowers like elderflower stand out. In all cases, this grape variety has a special freshness that makes this wine fresh while being sweet and very versatile when serving it.
