The Salérac is produced and matured between 3 and 6 months in a cellar in the Cantal, in Thiézac, at the foot of the Puy Mary. This optimal ripening period gives Salérac its letters of nobility.
Salérac is made from a variety of cheeses
Under a golden and flowery rind, its well-bound, firm, supple and homogeneous yellow paste gives off a fruity smell with mountain aromas. A unique and authentic flavor in the image of our characterful terroir. The number on the rind is the date of production, which indicates the day of production and thus allows you to know the exact maturation period of each cheese.
Both ideal for preserving your Salerac, our tarlatan pouch made in France is also a practical and original gift.
