Glenmorangie is one of the most respected whisky distilleries in Scotland.
Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or has matured for 10 years in American oak barrels and 2 years in Sauternes barrels. It has not been cold filtered.
This filtering process keeps its character and sensory richness intact, especially in flavor, as it preserves the fatty acids of the distillate.
Appearance: Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or has a lime and orange peel color, raisins and dates give a rich flavor of mixed fruit mixed with tempting spices of coconut and nutmeg.
Nose: Ginger, nutmeg, and toasted almonds bring a deep warm flavor interwoven with a syrupy lemon meringue.
Palate: Long and delightfully sweet finish with lemon zest, white chocolate, vanilla, and hints of ginger and nutmeg.
