Lascaw 12 Year Old Whiskey is based on 3 elements:

• its composition based exclusively on Scotch malt whisky,
• its aging for 12 years,
• its ultimate refining by a passage in oak barrels that have contained a typical aperitif of the Perigord with the scent of truffles.

Nose: fruit and spice notes on the first nose, woody nuances then light truffle scent.

Body :sturdy and well balanced.

Palate: complex and coating.

Final: intense, fruity and slightly peaty.

Size: 70 cl

Degree: 40% vol.

The Distillerie du Périgord comes from the Distillerie Lapouge founded in 1860 by Emile Lapouge.

Reputed for the quality of its fruit brandies, the distillery develops from the 80s in the treatment of fruit with alcohol. The distillery acquires its letters of nobility through a gastronomic knowledge, a renowned terroir, the competence of passionate men, the search for raw materials of very good gustatory quality and the mastery of maceration and distillation processes.
