Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera produces Cueva del Chaman Roble 2021, a red wine with DO Almansa made from 2018 garnacha tintorera grapes. This carbonic maceration red wine is ideal to be consumed when young, with all its freshness and personality.
After malolactic fermentation, the wine must was introduced into French oak barrels to remain in them for a minimum of 4 months. The barrels have an age range of zero to three years, with 25% new barrels. The fermentation temperature was around 28ºC.
Ideal for accompanying rice dishes, meats, game, and aged cheeses.
It is recommended to consume this red wine at a temperature of 16ºC.
