Description
The grapes used in the production of Dow's Fine Ruby were a combination of traditional Portuguese varieties from the Douro Valley, such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão. Dow's Fine Ruby was aged in oak cured barrels in our cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia for an average of 3 years and once bottled, it was ready to drink. Its exuberant young fruit flavours make it perfect for informal occasions. If it is hot, serve slightly chilled.


Tasting notes
Deep, lively ruby colour. It is a full-bodied wine with seductive aromas of red fruits. On the palate it reveals itself fresh and youthful, with raspberry and cherry flavours combined with a long and intense finish.
