Encinasola 1920 brings together all the extraordinary know-how of our town, Encinasola.
It focuses on the raising of pigs fed in the Dehesas and the production of high quality products with their meats, where every detail is meticulously taken care of, thinking of the most select palates.
Encinasola 1920 is a tribute to a family tradition that remains alive after more than 100 years.
From its roots, the family recipe maintains intact the artisan way of making its products, which come from selected pigs that spend their entire lives feeding on the natural resources offered by the Encinasola meadows, in the best possible ecosystem and the best diet.
Encinasola is the name, but DO NOT be fooled by the name of our town; There is not a single holm oak, there are thousands of holm oaks in our fields, the tree whose fruit we use to feed our pigs.
Our region is famous for products derived from pork: hams, shoulders, loin, chorizo, morcón, ... and is a neighbor of other towns with a traditional charcuterie like Jabugo, Cumbres Mayores, Cumbres de San Bartolomé, or Aroche.
In the neighboring province of Badajoz we also have the towns of Higuera la Real as neighbors, Oliva de la Frontera or Fregenal de la Sierra.
