The squids are carefully selected and prepared by hand: they are cleaned thoroughly, filled with their own tentacles, and packed manually; all to ensure that each can contains a perfectly crafted preserve. The squid in olive oil are submerged in a mixture of 85% refined olive oil and 15% extra virgin olive oil. This coating enhances the smoothness of the squid and adds a layer of richness to the flavor.
