The Sobao Pasiego is made from a beaten mixture of butter, flour, sugar, and egg, and is presented in a paper capsule traditionally known as a "gorro", in which the folds form its characteristic wings. Its flavor is sweet, with a special aroma of butter. This typical product from the region of Cantabria is recognized for its toasted surface, intense yellow crumb, and soft and fluffy texture. Our sobaos, protected by the PDO "Sobao Pasiego", are made daily following the family recipe in Selaya, in the well-known Pasiegos Valleys of Cantabria.
