THE WINERY
In 1957, the Cigales Cooperative Winery was born with the purpose of offering a quality product without neglecting tradition, maintaining the underground structure of the old winemakers in Cigales.
The average production of the Cigales Cooperative Winery is around 1,500,000 kilos of grapes and is mainly focused on the vinification of rosé, the renowned 'Claret'.
However, due to our vineyards being the oldest in the region, red wine production is becoming more prominent.
Our wines are produced in the Cigales region, which covers an area of 574 km2, on both banks of the Pisuerga River in the northern sector of the Duero Depression.
