Our history begins in Écija, where Ruiz Canela Hijos sl is founded. The company is dedicated to the extraction of olive pomace and is a leader in the sector with more than 50 years of experience. Founded by Don Juan Ruiz-Canela Domínguez.After establishing himself in the pomace refining sector, Don Juan decided to create Aceitera La María in 1976 , to make our most precious asset known, extra virgin olive oil. Product of our own farm.
The first facilities are located in the capital Seville, on La María street, in the Macarena neighborhood. Currently and due to the growth of sales and of Seville, we made the decision to move to our current location in Valencina de la Concepción.
Our goal has always been to market our products in the hospitality channel, as well as to develop the export of our products.
