Their pigs spend the first stage of their life on their farm, feeding on natural cereals made in their facilities until they reach a weight of between 40 and 50kg, when they access the pastures.
There, they enjoy an exquisite diet composed of this selection of cereals in addition to grass, tubers, roots, and acorns, reaching 90/100kg in early October (when the montanera begins), the moment when the acorns fall and they feed exclusively on them until reaching an approximate weight of 180kg in their adult stage. This is essential to maintain the Iberian breed and be able to label it as acorn-fed Iberian.
This 100% Iberian Acorn-fed Cular Salchichón is made respecting the oldest recipe of our grandparents to preserve the legacy of authenticity, of natural flavor. The selection of meats is done with special care and leaving a minimal amount of fat to then proceed to a coarse mincing.
Tasting notes:In this product, you can appreciate a delicious and consistent texture, a balanced and persistent flavor with hints of pepper, as well as the juiciness of authentic 100% Iberian acorn-fed pork. Stuffed in natural casing and dried and aged for 5 to 6 months in a traditional way, applying the latest technologies to ensure maximum quality. Its low preservative content makes the product one of the most natural and healthy.
