Tender cheese, creamy paste and mild flavor, original by the mixture of nuts (walnuts and hazelnuts) collected in Asturias.
Matured for 8 to 10 days.
A fusion of the sobriety of walnuts and hazelnuts with the creaminess of Taramundi cheese. A tasty and original cheese that you won't find anywhere else.
Color: yellow to pale yellow
Flavor: lactic, buttery cow's milk, vegetal traces of nuts.
Texture: supple, scattered pieces of nuts, smooth cut without flaking.
One by one, the pieces are mixed, moulded and pressed to obtain the right texture so that, finally, each bite is a real delicacy.
Approximate weight is 500 grams, vacuum packed.
Conserved cold between 4 and 8 degrees.
It pairs perfectly with a Rueda wine at optimum temperature, or a Ribera del Duero.
To enjoy its best flavour, remove from the packaging and refrigerator a short time before consumption.

One of the charms of Taramundi is its cuisine and artisan products. There everything is home-made, and elaborated under pure ancestral traditions.
The cheese factory is located in the surroundings of the village of Taramundi and the cheese is elaborated by the cooperative of cattle breeders Eo Leche, R.L. which was created in 1987
The group is made up of 41 partners producing cow's milk and 4 partners producing goat's milk.
