The D.O. Manchego cheese aged Adiano (wedge) is a cheese with a designation of origin that is handmade from raw milk of purebred Manchego sheep fed in the pastures of El Campillo estate (Ciudad Real) at the foot of the Toledo mountains.

The artisan D.O. Manchego cheese Adiano has become the most awarded nationally during the 2024 World Cheese Awards held in Portugal, having won three Super Gold medals in a single competition. In the previous edition of the WCA, in Wales, it won the Gold medal.

Specifically in this new edition of the World Cheese Awards, it has achieved: Best semi-hard sheep cheese in the world, Best sheep cheese for the Reserva version, and Adiano Afinado was distinguished as the best DOP Manchego cheese in the world. Adiano has already received more than 30 awards since its launch in 2022.

It is an aged cheese made from unpasteurized sheep's milk, without additives or preservatives, which matures in its own mold, making its crust, completely natural, 100% edible.

This artisan aged D.O. Manchego cheese Adiano has exceptional quality and its organoleptic qualities, in which natural fermentations are preserved, give it nuances of flavor and aroma that stand out in its category.

All the sheep on the estate enjoy a semi-free state where they alternate daily time in the field grazing, playing, sunbathing, or resting. The barns where they rest have been designed with the latest available technology focused on animal welfare (Animal Welfair™), and where they are milked or spend the night to shelter from the weather.

In addition, the cheese factory has a waste treatment plant that minimizes the impact and ecological footprint, contributing to becoming a 100% sustainable brand.
