Corte Astur, was born as a family business, heir to the tradition of six generations of Asturian farmers in the municipality of Mieres, breeders, since the mid-nineteenth century, of brown alpine cows that were later displaced by the "vaques roxes", as in Asturias we call the "Asturian veal of the valleys"

Our calves are raised in the middle of the central mountain of Asturias, in a privileged natural environment, located at the head of the so-called "Valle de Turón". In its meadows, located at more than 700m above sea level and characterized by their excellence and variety, our calves are born and raised. The abundance of vegetation and natural water in the area allows our cattle to be born and raised in a life that we could call semi-freedom, feeding largely on the resources that the nature of the place gives us

All of the above gives our cattle a unique nutritional quality during their development. As a complement to our pastures, we use feed that is based exclusively on cereals used for organic feed, which is one of the hallmarks of the quality of our meat
